So, who are we?
As I mentioned, my name is David Stockburger, and my wife's name is Esther. I work on the house (the easy job) and Esther looks after me and our three kids and puts up with this rather daunting project (the hard job).
I was previously a lawyer, and I am still a member of the Alberta Bar; I'm just inactive. I don't think I'll go back to it, but the door is always open. If you want, you can check it out by going to the Law Society of Alberta's website and doing a lawyer search. You'll find me there by entering my name. Whatever you may think of lawyers, I'm still glad to be part of the club, and I don't intend to do anything to get booted out of it.
I grew up in Edmonton, and I moved back with Esther in May 1997. The previous house we owned bit me with the renovation bug, and I've always been a bit keen about real estate, so this seemed to make sense.
